Model overview based on user reviews
The Canon EOS 1200D kit 18-55 is a digital SLR camera designed for beginners, offering intuitive controls and numerous automatic modes that make it easy to learn photography. It features an 18-megapixel sensor that delivers excellent photo quality, especially compared to compact cameras, and performs well even in low-light conditions. The camera is lightweight and comfortable to hold, although some users find it a bit bulky with additional lenses. While it lacks a touchscreen and has a slow continuous shooting speed of 3 fps, it compensates with a simple menu and the ability to use a wide range of Canon lenses. The battery life is decent, supporting up to 500 shots per charge, but some users recommend having a spare due to its relatively weak capacity. Overall, the Canon EOS 1200D is a well-made, user-friendly DSLR ideal for amateur photographers looking to improve their skills.

I took it on the recommendation of a friend. In short, the advantages of this camera are that with good photo quality (the sensor costs 18 megapixels), it was designed taking into account the requirements of beginners in photography. That’s why it has intuitive, simple controls with numerous prompts. This camera helps you learn photography. In addition, you can install any lens from Canon’s huge range on it. Helps to learn photography, light and small For me - only advantages use Canon EOS 1200D kit 18-55 week i recommend it should buy |
I am a photographer with a little experience (I used to shoot with a Canon PowerShot A650 and also had a Nikon Coolpix). So there was no point in getting something professional; I first need to learn how to shoot. For this purpose, you won't find anything better than the 1200D. It was created specifically for beginners. The menu is simple, understandable, and even with tips explaining what and why. The mode dial has several automatic settings, so if you get confused and don't know how to set up the camera, you can use them. And the image quality is superb. Especially at dusk: without a flash, point-and-shoot cameras weren't capable of capturing anything. But the 1200D can :) Ease of control Many automatic modes Well made I would like a movable screen and also a touchscreen :) use Canon EOS 1200D kit 18-55 week |
My husband, knowing about my passion for photography, gifted it to me for my birthday. To be honest, I didn't ask for such an expensive gift, but it was very pleasant. And when I started taking photos, I realized that the compact camera I had been using until now was just trivial. The photos taken with the DSLR are not just better; they are completely different. The quality of the photos, compared to a compact "point-and-shoot" with 12MP, is very pleasant. The resolution is much higher, here it’s 18 megapixels, but it’s not just about the quantity, it’s about the quality. When you enlarge a "point-and-shoot" photo, the pixels tend to blend into groups with smooth color transitions. In this camera, individual points are more independent and the color transitions are significantly sharper. So even if you crop a 1200D photo down to the "point-and-shoot" 12MP, the level of detail will still be significantly better. There's a lot of different settings and configurations. I've been figuring them out for three months now and have understood more than half of them )) But even without all these numerous buttons, switches, and joysticks, the camera shoots excellently in "auto" mode. I'm thrilled with the two included lenses. With them, I can take beautiful wide-angle panoramas and capture distant objects with powerful zoom. After the old camera, this one seems too big and heavy. With the telephoto lens, the weight is almost a kilogram, and it's already inconvenient to hold it with one hand. Although the body is made comfortably and fits well in the hand. The "point-and-shoot" had a touchscreen, but here it's just a regular one, albeit with good resolution. It's a pity, it was very convenient with the touchscreen. |
