Galaxy Mini runs on the Android 2.2 platform and has a proprietary TouchWiz interface. Widgets for managing sound and wireless connections are installed in the message menu. The application menu has horizontal scrolling and three screens that are added as new applications are installed (only 12 icons fit on the screen plus 4 menu icons). Desktops can be used from 1 to 7, they are added and removed in a special item of the context menu. The choice of pre-installed widgets is small, but to get started, you can put a clock, weather and news widget, Google search.
The Mini uses its own application manager. You can monitor memory usage, remove installed programs.
The Swype typing system adapted for touch screens and the support of the Ukrainian language, which appeared in it for the first time, was installed.
The browser does not support flash and for some reason does not change the orientation automatically — it must be switched every time in the settings.
Camera:
The Samsung GT-S5570 Galaxy Mini is equipped with a 3 MP camera. No autofocus or flash. In the camera settings, you can choose the exposure metering.
