Keeping up with trends
To keep up with modern trends, the smartphone’s thickness in the unfolded state has been reduced to 4.2 mm. When folded, it also remains compact — just about 8.9 mm. At the same time, both displays have grown: the outer one from 6.3 to 6.5 inches and the main foldable from 7.6 to 8 inches. Both screens are based on Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with LTPO and an adaptive refresh rate. However, the manufacturer removed support for the S Pen.
Flagship-grade hardware
The hardware platform features an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone became one of the first devices with the Android 16 operating system, enhanced with numerous Galaxy AI smart features. The user has access to a wide set of AI tools for photo and video editing, as well as for smart on-screen search.
Class-leading qualities
The device’s cameras are on a flagship level. The main module is equipped with a 200 MP sensor, complemented by a 12 MP ultra-wide and a 10 MP telephoto lens. The front-facing cameras integrated into the displays are 10 MP each. Power is supplied by a 4,400 mAh battery with 25 W wired charging and wireless reverse charging up to 15 W. The Samsung Galaxy Fold7’s body is protected from dust and fully from water (IP48). As a result, this is one of the leaders in its segment that will surely interest fans of foldable tablet-style smartphones.
