Processor is not top-notch, but it's fine for not-too-long gaming sessions because of overheating. The battery is excellent. I love One UI, and the screen is quality AMOLED. Of course, it's not glass and metal, but I carry it in a case. I bought it because these drawbacks didn't stop me. The camera is decent for its price: the main sensor works well under good conditions, the wide-angle is okay, and the two fillers are like everywhere else. The sound is average. Cosmetic update
The smartphone was released as a cosmetic upgrade of the popular Samsung Galaxy M30s. They borrowed a juicy screen based on a Super AMOLED matrix with an Infinity U-style waterdrop notch, an “iron” component with a homegrown Exynos 9611 chipset “at the head of the table” and a 6000 mAh record-breaking battery. So that the process of charging the battery does not stretch for long hours, the gadget was “delivered” with support for Samsung Charge technology (accelerated charging with a power of 15 W).
Camera with the prefix "quad"
Of the innovations, the model increased the amount of memory (up to 6/128 GB), got a separate slot for a microSD card, and acquired an additional “eye” of the main camera. From now on, the rear photomodule has a “quad” prefix: the choice fell on a 64 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide, 5 MP macro camera and 5 MP depth sensor (for effective background blur in portrait photography). In the centre of the plastic “back” of the device is a platform for a fingerprint scanner.
Out of competition
The addition of the Samsung Galaxy M31 provides a full range of wireless communications (including the NFC chip in the most "running" modification of the smartphone) and support for the Google AR Core augmented reality service. With such data, the model simply does not have direct rivals in the league of solutions from A-brands.
