Model overview based on user reviews
The Samsung Galaxy A55 256 GB / 12 GB is a well-rounded smartphone that impresses with its bright and responsive display, featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate and excellent color reproduction, making it ideal for media consumption. It boasts powerful performance thanks to its robust processor and 12 GB RAM, ensuring smooth operation without lags. The high-quality camera captures impressive photos, particularly in low light, and is quick to respond. Users appreciate the ample storage capacity of 256 GB, allowing for extensive data storage. The phone's durable build quality, with a well-assembled glass and aluminum body and moisture protection, ensures longevity. Fast charging capabilities allow the battery to reach 50% in just 30 minutes, although some users find the 25W charger slightly weak. The design, while modern and stylish, resembles an iPhone, and the sharp edges can be uncomfortable without a case. Additionally, the absence of a 3.5 mm headphone jack and occasional fingerprint sensor lag are noted drawbacks. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A55 offers a reliable and powerful experience, making it a strong choice for consumers seeking a feature-rich smartphone.

Beautiful design that no one will appreciate because using the phone without a case is inconvenient. Main selection criteria: decent camera, large memory capacity, sufficient performance to avoid lag. Samsung because previous ones were also Samsung and I don't want to adapt to another interface and nuances of a different brand. Large bright display 120 Hz 411 ppi with excellent color reproduction quality. Powerful processor and good software optimization, thanks to which everything runs smoothly without any lags or delays. The touch screen responds to the slightest touches. Impressed with the photo quality, the camera works quickly and often forgives operator errors. The night shooting deserves special mention: the camera correctly adjusts to low light, producing clear photos with decent colors. The glass and aluminum body is perfectly assembled and has moisture protection. From a technical standpoint, I didn't notice any issues; everything works perfectly. Personally, I don't understand the attempt in design to resemble an iPhone. The sharp edges make it a bit uncomfortable to hold without a case. A case is also essential to protect the camera lenses, which protrude significantly and absorb all the pressure. Additionally, I miss the regular 3.5 mm mini-jack for headphones, because I'm a dinosaur who doesn't acknowledge wireless headphones for music and doesn't want to bother with adapters from Type-C. ![]() |
I've been using the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G SM-A556 smartphone for a few months. Completely satisfied with the purchase. Although it's not a flagship, it looks quite impressive externally. The battery lasts a day of active use. Charges quickly. The 256 GB storage allows you to store a lot of necessary information, and thanks to the 8 GB RAM, all operations are fast. No disadvantages. ![]() |
