In fact, the camera is a simplified version of the Canon EOS M5 model, from which the "six" borrowed a 24.2 MP APS-C image sensor, a DIGIC 7 graphics processor and a proprietary Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus system. The camera also received a 5-axis matrix stabilization system, which guarded the smoothness of the picture when recording video. The videos are recorded on the camera in the maximum resolution of FullHD (1920x1080 pixels) with a frame rate of up to 60 fps. The model demonstrates a fast rate of fire in the reportage genre of photography, “shooting” in bursts up to 9 fps, shows excellent results when shooting at high ISOs (the native sensitivity range of the Canon...EOS M6 kit 18-150 matrix ranges from 100 to 25600 ISO units), as well as confidently "catches" objects in the frame with the help of a 49-point automatic focus system. For sighting during the shooting process, a 3-inch touch screen is used, seated on a swivel hinge. Optionally, an external electronic viewfinder can be installed on the camera's hot shoe. Another plus in the karma of the model is a full range of wireless communications (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC-chip) for communication "over the air" with mobile gadgets. This configuration of the mirrorless camera provides the equipment with a universal zoom lens with a set of focal lengths of 18-150 mm and a “floating” f / 3.5-5.6 aperture. |

SLR cameras, especially full-frame ones, are cool, no one argues. But once holding a Canon EOS 5D Mark III with a large professional lens in my hands, I decided that I didn’t need such happiness. An almost two kilogram fool takes fantastic pictures, but almost TWO KINS of glass and precision mechanics is not at all something that you can take with you on any trip. I wanted a camera that you can take with you for no particular reason, just for a walk in the park. This is a mirrorless camera equipped with a conventional APS-C sensor, which is installed in amateur DSLRs, but when fully assembled, it does not reach 700 grams in weight. In terms of dimensions, the device is also much more compact, but the image quality is high and is in no way inferior to medium-level amateur DSLRs. The kit includes quite a decent zoom lens with a wide range of focal lengths and 8.3x optical zoom. It is important to note that when using a special adapter EF-EOS M, the camera can work with any Canon EF and EF-S lenses. The sensor in it is installed the most modern, 24-megapixel, it allows you to shoot in very low light even at ISO 6400. If the photo does not go beyond the web, then you can even use ISO 12800. Photos come out very clear and detailed, autofocus is good, automatic exposure also works as it should. Of course, there is the saving of RAW files and serial shooting. The camera can and should be used for shooting high-quality video, it shoots wonderful videos at 1920x1080 at 60 fps. Thanks to the presence of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC, you can control the camera from your smartphone. High cost, a DSLR with the same image quality (when shooting under normal conditions) can be bought 15% cheaper, and this is a significant difference. In addition, that is not the most tenacious battery, which is well felt even in autumn. |
