Model overview based on user reviews
The Canon EOS 700D is a solid choice for beginner photographers, offering a range of features that cater to both photography and video needs. It boasts an 18-megapixel CMOS sensor, which delivers excellent image quality and performs well at ISO levels up to 1600. The camera's autofocus system is praised for its speed and quiet operation, especially in video mode. The rotatable touch screen adds convenience, allowing for easy navigation and shooting from various angles. However, users have noted some limitations, such as noise at higher ISO settings and a limited buffer for continuous shooting in RAW format. Despite these drawbacks, the camera is comfortable to handle and provides a good balance between functionality and ease of use, making it a great entry-level DSLR for those transitioning from point-and-shoot cameras.

The camera has everything and even a little more for the beginner photographer. It shoots excellently in various automatic mode variations (until the owner grows into "Manual" mode). 4) ISO can be raised high without quality loss Not found use Canon EOS 700D kit 18-55 month or more |
Bought as a gift for a little one. I myself have been working with Canon for more than one year, so there was no question of choosing a brand. We needed a decent 15-20 megapixel camera that was good at working with video. The choice was made on this camera with a kit lens EF-S 18-135 STM. First of all, this is a great lens. Focus speed is very good. Moreover, the focus works unusually quietly. The tracking autofocus of the video filming works out the movements quite quickly and clearly. Secondly, I will mention the quality of the resulting photo and video material. With this, as always with Canon, there are no problems. But do not forget that it is not the camera that shoots, but still the person. The "Auto" mode is good, but not ideal, and if you know how, it's better to work with Av or Tv modes. At high ISOs it does not make noise, the color balance works well. Comfortable in the hand, weighty, but not too heavy. The bright touch-screen swivel screen can be useful in non-standard shooting conditions. Stupid serial shooting in RAW. In fact, you can shoot no more than three frames in a quick burst. This is followed by a plug, during which the device writes to the card. The speed of the card practically does not affect the process in any way, on fast and ultra-fast cards the plug is still preserved. In JPEG, everything shoots without such glitches. |
Conclusion. A budget camera for beginner enthusiasts. It's possible to take technically good photos, but effort is required, as it's hindered by the strange ISO discreteness, poor kit lenses, and a noisy sensor. However, as a first device for everyday use, it can be purchased. Convenient. Rotatable touch screen. You can scroll through the captured photos simply with your finger across the screen. It makes noise. No point in lying about shooting at ISO 1600. The camera already makes noise at 800. And if you shoot in low light conditions, the noise just appears everywhere. The RAW file is quite difficult to work with. The shadows make a lot of noise during processing. The ISO selection list is limited compared to Nikon cameras. ISO starts at 200, then immediately jumps to 400, and then to 800. Why can't you choose 300 or even 320? That way, you wouldn't be generating noise. The lenses included are very poor. Sharpness is not impressive. Under low lighting, the pictures are worse than with a point-and-shoot camera. ISO above 800 is not suitable for work. use Canon EOS 700D kit 18-55 month or more |
