A compact mini-ITX motherboard from the ROG STRIX gaming series, designed for hardcore gamers and overclocking enthusiasts. It stands out due to its compact size, built-in Wi-Fi adapter, support for water cooling systems and the integrated Aura Sync backlight synchronization system. Runs under the control of the Intel B660 mid-range system logic, is designed to work in tandem with the 12th and 13th generation Intel Core processors (Alder Lake and Raptor Lake).
It has many features that make it easy to build and configure a gaming system in a compact mini-ITX form factor. Support for advanced DDR5 memory with a maximum clock speed of 6200 MHz makes it possible to build a serious gaming PC or workstation with a large amount of fast RAM on the basis of the board. A pair of M.2 slots with PCI-E 4.0 bus integration and additional cooling are designed to unleash the full potential of modern M.2 NVMe SSDs.
The power subsystem is based on MOSFET switches and has 9 power stages, which makes it the best choice for medium-power processors a la Core i5 or junior Core i7 models. To effectively cool powerful components, the Asus ROG STRIX B660-I GAMING WIFI board is equipped with an additional VRM heatsink, thermal pads for M.2 zones and numerous thermal sensors running Fan Expert 4 software. As a bonus, a wireless module with networking support is already installed on board Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. And the SupremeFX sound system, as is traditional for the ROG Strix series, is equipped with a Savitech amplifier.
