The Asus ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II motherboard provides full performance for the Core i7-78xxX, i9-79xxX, i9-99xxX (E), and i9-109xxX (E) CPU models.

It is an upgraded version of the 2017 Asus ROG Strix X299-E Gaming board, the design of which has been refined to take into account the increased number of PCI-E lanes in 2019 Core-X processors. With three PCI-E x16 slots, Nvidia 3-Way SLI and AMD 3-Way CrossFireX multiGPU configurations are possible. Equipped with eight slots for installing unbuffered DDR4 RAM modules (up to 256 GB), which work in 2- or 4-channel mode (depending on the installed processor). The built-in controllers Intel I219V (up to 1 Gbps), Realtek RTL8125-CG (up to 2.5 Gbps), as well as a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 module (802.11n / ac / ax) with Bluetooth support are responsible for transmitting network traffic 5.0.
