A miniature case made in the Cube Case format and positioned by the manufacturer in the middle price range. The Fractal Design NODE 304 chassis allows you to install a mini-ITX motherboard. In total, this case is designed to build a compact and powerful PC. The system unit received a frame structure, which provides increased strength and reliability of the chassis. The cooling system is represented by efficient air convection: the case is equipped with 3 regular fans with a diameter of 92/140 mm, and the fan speed controller is placed on the interface panel.
The maximum height of the CPU cooler reaches 165 mm. Despite the miniature dimensions of the system unit, inside it has enough space to install a graphics adapter up to 310 mm long. There is a dedicated space in the lower compartment for mounting the power supply. Let's install a power supply unit of the traditional ATX form factor. The hard drive rack can accommodate up to 6 3.5" devices. Only 2 plugs are provided for installing PCI expansion cards. The case is available in several colour variations. This system unit will allow you to assemble a fairly performant computer, which is distinguished by low noise level and minimal dimensions.

The power supply is located very unusually :) It is not at the back, but at the front of the case, at the back everything is given to the motherboard. But the power cable is still connected at the back. There is no room for 5-inch devices at all. This only made me happy; I haven’t used disks for several years now. But if it’s critical for you, then buy another case or an external drive. But there are plenty of places for hard drives; you can put six of them in at once. This means the case is perfect for assembling a file server. Lovely, simply lovely! The body is beautiful not only on the outside, but also on the inside. Very well assembled, thick steel. Everything is logical, access to components is not difficult at all. There are, however, some nuances with the laying of wires, but this is due to the small size of the case itself and is not critical. Interesting arrangement of USB 3.0 connectors and audio connectors on the front panel. There are dust filters that are very easy to remove for cleaning. Much attention is paid to combating vibrations; everything that can be seated through rubber gaskets. The packaging is simple. And the equipment is so-so, only the most necessary screws. I really liked the case. Appearance, equipment. Yes, in order to fit the power supply and video card that I want, I will have to modify it a little to move the power supply closer to the right wall, but I don’t consider this a disadvantage. I want to reassure those who read the reviews in which they scolded disgusting screws, licked edges, scratched hands. If you don’t have a quality tool, or don’t know how to use it, then why bother doing anything yourself. Who should be surprised? Decent wall thickness, very well-thought-out arrangement, removable mesh filters on the vents. Possibility of installing a powerful graphics card and 6 HDDs! Overall, plenty of room for creativity in a relatively small case. The white body is painted glossy, which makes it a bit forgiving. Matte white would look better. use Fractal Design Node 304 Black less than month |
