Full-size ATX motherboard from the ASUS ROG STRIX gaming lineup, based on the mid-range AMD B850 chipset. It presents itself as a competitive alternative to X870 solutions, combining rich functionality with a reasonable price for creating high-performance gaming systems on the AM5 platform. The board is optimized for use with high-performance multi-core AMD Ryzen processors of the 7000, 8000, and 9000 series based on the Zen 4 and Zen 5 architecture.

Like other models in the ROG STRIX series, this board stands out with its quality component base, well-thought-out circuitry, and powerful power system with enhanced cooling. It uses a 16+2+2 phase VRM built on 90A power modules MP87691 from Monolithic Power Systems. The heatsinks cover not only the VRM but also the areas with M.2 slots and the chipset, effectively dissipating heat from key components.

The board supports automatic overclocking via AI Overclocking, as well as the AI Networking function, which helps to efficiently distribute network traffic. The built-in RGB lighting synchronizes through Aura Sync, and system monitoring and settings management are conveniently carried out through ASUS's proprietary utilities.
