The graphics card needs support, otherwise it will warp over time. I hung mine with a zip tie. Insert, updated the drivers, and forgot about it. The card is quiet. Runs great, almost everything on max settings. The talk about AMD having software issues is nonsense, never had any problems with it. Everything's awesome!!! You need to take into account the size of the case and the price is a bit steep use Asus Radeon RX 580 ROG-STRIX-RX580-O8G-GAMING more than year |
I got the graphics card as a replacement for my 1060/3, which was paired with a Pentium G4560. In some games, I could see the processor struggling, and in others, there wasn't enough video memory. So, I decided on something similar but with more memory and not too expensive. I'm not chasing ray tracing and other fancy features because all those RTX effects need a powerful processor. Since I replaced the G4560 with an i5-7500, I believe this graphics card is quite enough for now, ensuring that the GPU doesn’t run at 100% while the CPU is just idling at 40-60%. My power supply is 450W, which is sufficient for stable performance, along with 16GB of DDR4/2400 RAM and an M2 drive. The graphics card itself is well-assembled, nothing is loose, and it’s clear that the build quality is solid. The fans are quiet and don’t whistle or rattle like you sometimes find in other setups. The entire PC runs quieter than a laptop. Now, regarding FPS in the games I've played (on ultra settings in Full HD): - Fallout 4: 50-70 fps - The Witcher 3: 50-60 fps - WOT: 80-130 fps Overall, it delivers a comfortable minimum of 50 frames per second, so I’m quite satisfied. If I ever decide to buy a top-end processor, I'll get a matching graphics card, but for now, this setup is more than enough for the 2019-2020 period. Pulls everything I need, price. No |
a cool video card was going to replace the 1080 beautiful too big |
Rich
ASUS ROG Strix RX 580 O8G is a graphics card with one of the richest body kits. Everything that is only invented in terms of cooling and decoration, everything is available in this model. So, the cooler is represented by a huge heatsink and as many as three fans - the temperature and noise are nowhere lower, even in the case of manual overclocking. But before buying, we advise you to carefully measure the inside of your computer case to make sure it will fit a graphics card 30 cm long and two and a half expansion slots thick.
All the colours of the rainbow
The cooler shroud is decorated with LED backlighting, and not just one colour, but customizable RGB. What's more, the colour and intensity can be synchronized with the ASUS ROG series motherboard and the case LED strips connected to it. As a result, the entire computer will flicker in the same style.
For 2K and 4K
A large amount of video memory (8 GB) allows ASUS ROG Strix RX 580 O8G to run games not only at 1080p resolution on ultras, but also in 2K and 4K, albeit only at medium graphics settings. This graphics card is intended primarily for fans of PC modding. Still, the rest can safely buy a cheaper version of the RX 580 with a simpler body kit.
