A pre-top-level video accelerator from the RTX 50 series (Blackwell architecture, 2025), which is second in power only to the damn expensive and powerful RTX 5090 model. The model boasts a solid supply of high-speed GDDR7 memory (16 GB), a PCI-E 5.0 interface and DLSS 4.0 support. This is the most relevant supersampling technology for 2025, which uses fundamentally new algorithms for multi-frame generation and image scaling, capable of increasing gaming performance by 4 - 8 times (compared to basic rendering).
The Asus GeForce RTX 5080 Prime OC 16GB GDDR7 modification is equipped with an improved cooling system with three Axial-Tech fans and an evaporation chamber. Axial-Tech fans provide high air flow while reducing noise levels thanks to an optimized blade design and a smaller gap between them and the radiator, and the evaporation chamber helps distribute heat evenly across the entire surface of the cooling system.
The use of dual BIOS allows you to switch between "performance" and "silence" modes on the fly. And the graphics card comes with GPU Tweak 3 software for optimizing and overclocking the system. Unlike its counterparts from the ROG Strix series, it has a minimalist design, has a more modest overclocking and costs a little less. According to the manufacturer, it is suitable for both high-end gaming builds and professional workstations designed for rendering, video processing, 3D modeling, etc.
