One of the highlights of this model is the battery: on a full charge, the phone lasts 2 days, and with intensive use of the internet/messengers/movie watching, it lasts about 12-15 hours. There's also an ultra-power saving mode that disables everything except calls and SMS, allowing the phone to work up to 80 hours. It's an awesome feature. I also want to mention the relatively low price of the phone, yet it includes NFC, a decent processor, and 4 GB of RAM. The screen is quite pleasant and bright, with a 90 Hz mode, and the touchscreen works flawlessly. I was very pleased with my purchase until the update to Android 12. After the update, many games started to freeze, and the phone itself often began to lag (at first, I thought it was the phone's fault, but then I read forums and realized it's a common issue). I also specifically want to point out the camera in this phone—it's an absolute disaster: neither quality, focus, nor stabilization. The camera on the old Redmi Note 5 was much better. There's also some lag with the gyroscope; sometimes, you have to shake the phone to get the image to flip. Everything is good, especially liked the battery. It lasts 10 hours of active use. The screen is bright, you can adjust it (reading mode). There's enough memory. The speaker, for a phone of this class, is good. Of course, the MIUI system has some drawbacks, but we're not discussing it. The phone itself is longer, yet I can still use it with one hand. Xiaomi Redmi 10C is one of the most affordable smartphones on the processor of the most popular Qualcomm brand, namely the Snapdragon 680. In fact, this is the same old 660th chip, only transferred to the 6 nm process technology. The architecture of powerful and energy-efficient cores is Cortex-A73 and A75, respectively, and the graphics are Adreno 610.
Monster of autonomy
For comparison, Unisoc and MediaTek processors in this price range have a more productive architecture: A75 + A55. Therefore, Redmi 10C, alas, is not a speed champion. But the progressive technical process, as well as the good optimization of the Android OS specifically for Qualcomm chips, make this smartphone truly long-playing.
Universal remote
Unlike the older Redmi Note line, there is only one music speaker, but it is very loud, do not miss a call even in a noisy room. The NFC contactless payment module is available in the European version of the smartphone, but not in the Chinese one. Be sure to check this point before buying. But the infrared port for controlling household appliances is guaranteed.
