Compared to the Xiaomi 14, the processor has been improved, the battery increased, and 8K video recording at 30 fps (previously 24 fps) has been added. The Chinese version does not support e-SIM.
The debut model features the flagship mobile processor Snapdragon 8 Elite, which smoothly handles games and applications of any "weight" level. Inside the smartphone, there is also 12 GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM, and it provides 512 GB of space in the built-in UFS 4.0 standard data storage. The front panel of the case occupies a flat OLED screen with compact dimensions, a 6.36-inch diagonal, resolution of 2670x1200 pixels, and a dynamic refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz (LTPO).
The display is protected from damage by strong Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass. The model is equipped with a triple main camera format "three by fifty": it consists of a 50 MP main image sensor with Leica optics and optical stabilization, a 50 MP ultra-wide, and a 50 MP stabilized telephoto lens with 3x zoom. Selfie shots are handled by a 32 MP front camera with a lens in an island hole on the screen.
The display also houses a fingerprint scanner. The Xiaomi 15 512GB/12GB runs on Android 15 with the proprietary user interface HyperOS 2.0. The smartphone's autonomous power is entrusted to a battery with a capacity of 5240 mAh with a 90-watt wired charging and 50-watt wireless charging technology. The model includes up-to-date communications such as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth v 5.4, an IR blaster, NFC chip, and full dust and water protection of the body IP68.
