Model overview based on user reviews
The Samsung Galaxy M13 64 GB / 4 GB offers a mix of features that cater to budget-conscious users. The SIM tray's ability to support 2 SIM cards and a microSD card is a standout feature, providing excellent expandability options. The fingerprint scanner is efficient and quick, enhancing security and ease of use. Users appreciate the phone's design and the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack, which adds to its overall appeal. However, the phone's performance is hindered by its processor, which struggles with simple tasks and causes the device to lag and heat up. Battery life is another concern, as it tends to lose capacity over time, requiring frequent charging. Software updates, particularly to OneUI 6.0, have been reported to cause significant lagging issues. Despite these drawbacks, the display is generally well-received, although some users experience lag. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy M13 is suitable for basic tasks and social media use, but those seeking better performance might consider alternatives like the M14.
Pros
Cons
Tray for 2Sim + microSD, has a 3.5mm jack, fingerprint scanner. The battery lost its initial capacity after approximately 6 - 7 months of use. Even though, to avoid overloading it, I set the charging limit to 85% from the beginning. In "calling" mode it lasts a day, but if I'm watching videos + using messengers, I'm forced to charge it two or even three times a day. The display is "lagging". |
Writing a new review, on OneUI 6.0 it started to lag terribly, the phone even hesitates when you press the power button. As per Samsung tradition, rollback is impossible. I thought budget phones were still good, but no. Display, battery, SIM tray, main memory, scanner works quickly Processor, RAM, OneUI 6.0, weight, the phone is terribly lagging |
Design, SIM tray for 2+1, 3.5 jack available, display, fingerprint scanner The processor heats up with more or less simple tasks, the camera, after a year the battery died. |
