Chose a mouse for work. I will say this, there are mice and cheaper ones, but they cannot be compared with this one. First, it is compact. For me, this is very important, since the palm is not large, and if the mouse is not the right size, then I get a load on the brush. This model fits my hand perfectly; secondly, I have been using it for the third year. During this time, not only did it not break, I changed the batteries only once. Thirdly, the mouse is moderately sensitive. You don't need to drive it all over the table to get to the opposite end of the monitor, but it doesn't move from table vibration either. The highlight of this model is the 4D wheel. At first I didn’t really understand what to do with it, but now I don’t know how I used to work without it. The mouse is cute, durable, the buttons are quiet, wireless - that's all I need. If this one suddenly "works", then I will purchase the same comfortable, has a magic 4D wheel price bites |
I love Logitech; I have the K380 keyboard and used to have the M325. The M325 is an example of the highest quality compared to this mouse. Every 15-20 seconds the mouse disconnects if you don't touch it, and it takes another 10 seconds to reconnect, whether to the dongle or via Bluetooth. It's incredibly annoying; the M325 never had such issues. Additionally, the signal often drops, very frequently, which is even more irritating, and it happens all the time, both with the dongle and Bluetooth. I've changed the battery, and the K380 keyboard works fine over Bluetooth, while the M325 worked without any problems with the dongle. If I had not used the M325, I might have thought this mouse was perfect. But no, it's incredibly annoying, and these delays and lags are constantly frustrating when working in Premiere and After Effects. I got it because of the device-switching feature and thought it was an improved M325, but I didn't get used to the long wait for the switch, and they made the 4D wheel non-inertial. Now, there are little notches you can feel when scrolling, which the M325 didn't have, allowing its wheel to spin the screen on its own when released. Very disappointed; it's better to buy the M325 or one of the older models. 2 devices to one mouse and "Flow" in settings, silent clicks long search for the device, constant shutdown, degraded 4D button. |
Two Computers ― One Mouse
Let's highlight the Logitech FLOW feature, which not only allows the device to connect to two computers simultaneously but also to switch between devices during work. Moreover, it lets you copy files from one computer to another by simply dragging them across screens with the mouse. The manufacturer claims it feels like magic, and honestly, this statement is quite true. For those who have two work computers (a desktop and a laptop, for example), the M590 Multi-Device Silent will seem truly indispensable. You can switch between computers with a special button on the top, and an LED indicator shows which computer is currently active with the mouse.
Logitech Options ― Don't Forget to Download
On one hand, the device functions successfully with direct connection, without additional apps. On the other hand, downloading Logitech Options is strongly recommended to fully unlock the mouse's potential. First, this proprietary software provides access to the aforementioned Logitech FLOW. Secondly, the application allows for precise settings adjustments, from changing the button assignments to recognizing gesture controls, both in Windows and MacOS.
Shhh!
The model is marketed as the quietest mouse in the world. Let's admit, this is very close to the truth. The button clicks are very soft and almost inaudible. It's useful for those who work at night or dislike frequent clicking sounds. The side buttons and scroll wheel are slightly louder, though still far quieter than regular mice. Speaking of the scroll wheel, it's not just a wheel; it performs additional functions when pressed left or right. For instance, you can set these actions to "copy" and "paste," using Logitech Options as well.
Two Years Until Battery Replacement!
The manufacturer claims that one AA battery (which is included, by the way) can last up to two years. This is due to intelligent power management ― reducing consumption when user activity is low and automatic shutdown during extended periods of inactivity. And if the charge is running low, a special indicator will signal this.
An unusual device for two computers simultaneously with very quiet button clicks. It's well-suited for designers or those involved in video editing, for instance.
