A sophisticated mouse from the specialized gaming series G Series by Logitech. It is primarily designed for avid gamers and eSports enthusiasts. The device features 5 buttons and a scroll wheel, with buttons that can be reassigned and programmed. A key feature of this model is its ability to connect wirelessly to a PC. Connection with the computer is done via a compact USB radio module, which can be stored directly in the mouse body.
The wireless connection uses proprietary LIGHTSPEED technology, achieving a polling rate of 1000 Hz. The response time is just 1 ms, and in power-saving mode, it is 8 ms. The Logitech Gaming Mouse G305 is equipped with the HERO optical sensor, which confidently operates in the resolution range of 200-12000 dpi. While there is no backlighting, there is an indicator that notifies the user about battery level and DPI modes. The main buttons have a lifespan of 10 million clicks. The device is powered by a single removable AA battery, providing around 250 hours of autonomous operation. The base of the mouse features Teflon feet, sufficient for 250 km of use on a Logitech G240 series mat.

I can't understand those who say that the material quality is at the lowest level. After a year of active use, only the letter G logo began to wear slightly. The materials are decent, reliable, and durable, with a very good sensor. Impressive performance even on a pure white lacquered table without a mat; I use it on ceramic table inserts in a dormitory, and it works just fine. Barely visible scratches under a flashlight, and it doesn't leave any marks. You just need to take proper care of the equipment instead of using greasy fingers to press the keys. I live in a dorm with a ton of dust, and it's always clean, yet the mouse works well. It's a decent mouse and there's no need to criticize it, especially for 2k UAH (approx. 50 EUR). If you want luxury materials, buy Razer or Logitech for 5-6k UAH (approx. 125-150 EUR), or Bloody for 3k UAH (approx. 75 EUR), but you'll end up with a horrible mouse, yet with cool materials, though you'll probably stop caring by the next hour. Light and comfortable mouse, easy to disassemble and reliable, even after several falls, the cover didn't open even a millimeter. The factory battery lasted 5.5 months, the Duracell battery almost 7 months, with no lag. For me, everything is perfect, no drawbacks at all. ![]() |
Before purchasing this mouse, I used the G102, which suited me in every way, but since I have a laptop, the cable was always in the way, so I decided to try something new. My eye immediately fell on the G305 as it's a copy of the G102. I can say that my initial impressions are great, and I hope it continues to perform well in the future. Configuration. Assembly. Nothing extra
When looking at Logitech's range of gamepads, we quickly notice that most of them have a very simple and utilitarian approach to design. They look stylish, but moderately modest, thanks to which they can look equally appropriate both at a gaming tournament and in the office. And the gaming nature is usually given out by small visual trifles like a neat logo illumination, side buttons or a sensitivity switch. All this applies equally to the terribly popular Logitech G305 wireless mouse.
Custom HERO sensor with 40G max acceleration
The weight distribution and balance are optimal here, and the “combat rodent” itself does not burden the hand not only during the game session, but throughout the whole day. At the bottom of the mouse are five Teflon feet, which significantly improve glide. The HERO sensor of our own production with a maximum resolution of 12000 DPI has a minimum response time, and the maximum acceleration rate is a decent 40 G. The higher it is, the less likely it is to accidentally stall the cursor when it flies somewhere into the sky, making a couple of turns around its axis.
Balance in everything
Its other advantages include a strong and balanced case, optimal weight, high-quality keys and a scroll wheel, stable communication without lags (the proprietary Lightspeed transmitter is really good), long battery life (up to 250 hours from a single battery). Throw in Logitech Gaming Software's user-friendly customization suite and built-in memory (the mouse's settings can easily be transferred to another PC with it) and you'll have clear proof that a professional gaming mouse doesn't have to cost like a good graphics card.
