The mat is really durable, even the cat tried to sharpen its claws on it and the mat didn't even get scratched. It's pleasant to the touch, plus the mouse works perfectly, the top is quite smooth, while the bottom is quite the opposite, it's grippy and doesn't slide on the table with the mouse.
