The Return of a Legend

Five years later, the G Pro 2 Lightspeed model was launched, becoming the ideological successor of the original G Pro.

Mission: Improve But Don't Break

In the second version, the manufacturer improved key parameters while retaining the form factor and concept of the original. The main innovation is the HERO 2 sensor with a resolution of 32,000 DPI compared to 25,600 DPI of its predecessor, ensuring more precise tracking and supporting a 1000 Hz polling rate. The updated Lightforce switches combine the speed of optics with the tactile feedback of mechanics. The autonomy increased from 60 to 95 hours, wireless charging support was retained, and the outdated microUSB port was replaced with USB-C. Furthermore, the RGB backlight now offers more customization options.

Meanwhile, the quality of materials, assembly, and attention to detail remained at the same impressive level. The body is light (80 grams), comfortable, and not tailored to a specific hand. The shape suits various grip types, and excellent balance ensures high maneuverability during gameplay. The side buttons are once again modular — instead of an unnecessary pair on the left or right, you can install plugs. The button settings can be saved in memory. And the wireless Lightspeed connection continues to delight with speed and connection stability. Plus, there is a classic wired connection option.
