Guide to Intel Core Processor Architectures and SocketsUnderstanding Intel generations and sockets: which processors to consider for purchase and which to avoid.

How to choose a CPU?How to choose the right CPU for any task, from spreadsheets to modern games and work applications
I've got an Intel Celeron D 360. When I bought it, I didn't get a cooler since I already had one. In my opinion, it's a good working piece of hardware. The CPU doesn't get heavily loaded. I've never seen it hit 100 percent load. In terms of overclocking, it increased by about 49 percent. Since I bought it a long time ago, I can say it's better now to get an AMD for the same money; it would be better. But if you need a regular processor for work and nothing more, you can manage with this one. it works well, doesn't freeze, the CPU never loads up to 100 percent, and it's also good for overclocking. it's a bit old, there are already better models from AMD |
A regular working processor. I bought the Intel Celeron D 336 back in 2007. It's stable in operation but a bit old; there are much better models now. As for overclocking, I managed to increase its clock speed to 4095 MHz, which means its speed increased by 46%, and the memory modules worked as DDR2-780. I don't think this model is suitable if you want to set up a computer like a "Typewriter," then this processor will do for you. There are much better options from AMD. good overclocking potential, decent performance it's a bit old already, in my opinion. |
If it were possible to combine two of these processors into one, I would buy it without hesitation!!! Great processor, it's been serving me for 7 years now. I installed Windows 7 Home Premium, and it scores 4.5 - and that's without overclocking. Everything is just SUPER. Not a single glitch over the years, works fine in games, doesn't let me down in software development either!!! Got a bit old =( use Intel Celeron D Prescott more than year i recommend it should buy |
