Model overview based on user reviews
The AMD Ryzen 3 Matisse series, including models like the 3100 and 3300X, offers impressive performance for its price range, making it a strong contender in the budget segment. Users appreciate the high performance and overclocking capabilities, with the 3300X delivering power comparable to higher-end models like the 3600 but at a lower cost. However, some users note that the stock cooler struggles with heat, especially under heavy loads, suggesting the need for a better cooling solution. The 3100 model is praised for its cool operation and 16 MB cache, although it operates at its limits in modern games without overclocking. Despite occasional issues like defective cores, the processors are generally well-received for their value and performance, making them a popular choice for gaming and multitasking on a budget.

Good processor, switched to it from FX8320E. ,So this Ryzen 3300X is more than twice as powerful as the old dude! Memory taken 3600 Kingston HyperX, mother on b550 from MSI I liked that with half the heat package I got twice as much productivity Not found |
I purchased it with the thought that someday I would buy a more expensive and powerful processor on the AM4 socket. This processor surprised me with its performance and the ability to overclock up to 4.7 MHz (I didn't try further, but I have a hunch that it's not the limit). Compared to my old Intel 2500s processor, now I can play games with the browser open, and not only that—at the same time, a virtual machine was running with a server, while on the home OS, a script was processing a database, and even with all this running, I could play Overwatch or Cyberpunk on ultra and medium settings without any lag (the graphics card isn't very strong—1060 3GB). Performance Overclocking capability up to 4.7 MHz At a frequency of 4.7 MHz it heats up to 65-70 * C with air cooling. Perhaps it was worth choosing a better thermal paste than MX-2 or installing dropsy. |
choose a well-ventilated case. Pulls everything off with flying colors, some say it's too hot, I overcame this by installing it in a well-ventilated case, 1 120mm fan for intake, 3 for exhaust. On the stock cooler, it runs at 40-45 degrees in applications, 60-65 degrees in games, which is quite acceptable. not yet identified |
