Thule BackPac 973

Universal mount for transporting bicycles, installed on the rear door of vans, minibuses, or minivans. By default, the model is designed to accommodate two adult bicycles with wheel sizes up to 29 inches in diameter. However, using the additional adapter 973-23 allows for an extra bike on the platform, and 973-23 + 973-24 — for two more bicycles. Each bike should not weigh more than 15 kg, and the total load capacity of the platform is up to 60 kg.

Bicycles are secured in the holder by the frame, plus special straps are threaded through the spokes of their wheels. In its standard position, the Thule BackPac 973 does not obstruct the visibility of the vehicle's rear lights and license plate, ensuring proper traffic safety conditions. The bike holder is made from high-strength steel alloy and weighs about 14 kg. On the vehicle, the mount is intended to be locked using the Thule Lock 567. For some car models, the product is adapted through the use of special adapter kits.
