Thule HangOn 9708

A relatively inexpensive bike rack for transporting four bikes on a car's tow hitch ball. The bikes are intended to be secured by the top tube of the frame. To transport bikes with non-standard frames (such as women's models), you'll need to additionally acquire the Thule Bike Frame Adapter 981. The Thule Lock 957 hitch lock is also optionally offered, as the model comes standard without a locking mechanism.

The installed bicycles are held in place with soft protective frame holders. The Thule HangOn 9708 has a tilt function to provide easy access to the car's trunk with the bikes mounted. The total load capacity of the device is up to 60 kg—it can easily handle four standard bicycles. The bike rack folds compactly for easy storage and transport. It is made of aluminum alloy and weighs just over 10 kg. Keep in mind that the installed bikes may block the visibility of the car's rear lights. In such cases, it is advisable to acquire the optional Thule Lightboard 976.
