Not a new phone was going to spend up to $ 300, but when I saw this model at a price of $ 325, I had to quickly expand the budget. If anyone is not in the know, then this is the former flagship of Sony's proprietary line, and the flagship devices of this company have always worked out very well. And although this model was created in 2015, and was sold in 2016, it is still more than relevant, especially at this price. Let me remind you that a year and a half ago, sales of this phone started at 700 euros! I like Sony's signature "brick" design. It may seem angular and awkward to some, but in my opinion, it is a stylish device for the modern man. The front and rear panels are made of tempered glass, with a metal frame around the perimeter that includes cushioning dampening inserts. The build quality is impeccable, and it feels like a monolith in hand. The screen is 5.2 inches, an IPS matrix with Sony's proprietary image enhancement technologies. To me, it's one of the best, if not the best, non-AMOLED displays in a smartphone. Brightness is adjustable from a level comfortable in complete darkness to a maximum that looks great under direct sunlight. The automatic adjustment works excellently, with manual tweaking needed only occasionally. Internally, there's a top-tier Snapdragon 810 processor. Everything runs smoothly, including heavy, resource-intensive games. There's plenty of memory, which can be further expanded with a memory card. Also worth praising is the superb 23 MP main camera and the good 5 MP front camera. And the way it records video! Clips recorded at 2160p at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps seem almost lifelike. It provides excellent sound to wired headphones. The battery is weak, at 2900 mAh, but it is not easy to feed the top-end processor and the smart heats up noticeably in games. I spent a long time choosing a smartphone, considering many options. It's important to note that I am a fan of this brand, so my opinion on the smartphone may seem quite subjective, but I'll try to describe everything as impartially as possible. Before using this device, I had already tried smartphones from Lenovo and Huawei. I bought those smartphones due to their affordable prices, which cannot be said about Sony. They have always overpriced their gadgets compared to other devices both from China and when compared to devices from brand A. In the end, to the best of my ability, I thoroughly studied all the smartphones in the 6000 price range, and Sony managed to win me over, especially since I previously owned several smartphones/phones from this company. Overall, my feelings about the purchase are quite mixed. On one hand, it is an excellent device with a good camera, powerful processor, and a decent video core. It has a nice size, 5.2 inches. A magnificent design, in my opinion, which played a significant role in choosing the device. But there are also some nuances. My first experience buying a smartphone was unsuccessful because I ended up with a defective unit. Accordingly, my first impression was negative. Despite the good design, in my opinion, the smartphone is quite slippery and tends to slip out of hand, although this might be subjective. It heats up, but not critically. I wish there were more milliamps in the battery. Good design. Video recording is top notch. Good iron and good, as for me, sound. The smartphone is quite slippery. Because of this, I had to put it in a case, as I don't want to take a new smartphone in for repair due to a cracked screen. The photo quality is rather average. Although, this is debatable. After all, it is a smartphone, not a DSLR. If you want high-quality photos, buy a camera. Battery. With active use, it lasts for 5-6 hours. Bought this body sony z5 dual sim. Size and design are great. But ... a jamb was found in this phone, when dialing a number from a notebook or a call line, or even just dialing in digital format, when you click on a number, or as in cases of dialing in digital format, the phone does not dial the number, you have to repeatedly press or dial the number. This happens when the phone lies idle. After that it goes away and everything is fine. After a while everything repeats. It infuriates for such a cost of the device.
