An interesting offer in the regiment of strong state employees with a bet on design and long-term battery life. The notable features of the smartphone in appearance are the textured finish of the back “under the skin” and the main camera unit, which is visually enlarged almost the entire width of the rear panel. Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display from damage. The electronic heart of the model is the eight-core Snapdragon 662 processor, supported by 4/64 GB of expandable memory. The chipset is strong enough to carry out standard everyday procedures and to turn most games (albeit not always at maximum speed). Special attention deserves a side fingerprint scanner and an infrared port for managing an arsenal of home appliances. The smartphone is offered in blue, yellow and black body colours.

I regret a little that I didn’t buy Poco X3 NFC then, but took this M3.

Personally, I bought a smartphone for myself, and I'm satisfied for 2 years. Only you can determine what you need.
It’s not a pity when they steal or lose it, it doesn’t slow down, it fell many times on the pavement and it’s whole, at first the battery was enough for a week now (after 2 years) 2-3 days, good sound when talking, inexpensive.
Dim screen in the sun, no NFC, no original batteries for sale.

The smartphone is definitely worth its money and it wins back the 14,500 rubles it costs.
Screen, Camera. The photos turn out normal in principle, if you don’t really find fault with them with the manners of a professional photographer.
The battery dies in literally a day. There's no trace of 6,000 mAh here.

For those who say that the phone heats up a lot, before this smartphone I had an iPhone 8 Plus, and you know what? It heated up SEVERAL TIMES MORE!! It was impossible to hold it in hands! And the Poco M3 compared to the previous smartphone DOES NOT heat up AT ALL!
- Apps run smoothly if you disable recommendations (ads) everywhere and remove unnecessary software from the system.
- The MIUI interface is user-friendly, and it comes with version 12 right out of the box.
- The fingerprint placement is convenient, it works not quickly, but also not slowly.
- It's great that it has a Snapdragon instead of MTK, as MTK tends to lag on many apps.
- Regarding the cameras for this price - it's fantastic.
- I really liked the design, especially the yellow color caught my eye.
- It has a type-c port, although some companies still don't use it.
- Simply STUNNING stereo sound, after mono on the iPhone, the difference is noticeable!
- There is a mini-jack for headphones)
- Night mode!
- Very low price!
- In sunlight, the screen at maximum brightness is not very visible.
- With not very careful use, the scanner and power button can easily break, and may sink into the case.
- NO NFC! I was very disappointed when I found out it doesn't have NFC(

Pocophones from Xiaomi have earned the status of a legend in just a couple of years. For very limited money, users are offered sophisticated smartphones at an affordable price. The younger Poco model named M3 is located at the junction of entry-level and middle-class devices.

Design approach

The smartphone is assembled in a plastic case in one of three colours to choose from: yellow, blue or black. The material of its "back" textured "under the skin", which looks fresh and feels good in the hand. A prominent element on the back of the device is a huge decorative plate for a triple camera 48 + 2 + 2 MP with the inscription “POCO”, printed on the opposite side of the seating of the trio of lenses.

Xiaomi Poco M3 has a 6.53-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. The threshold of its brightness is about 400 nits, so the picture on the display dims in bright sunlight. In general, you can’t undermine it in terms of colour reproduction quality. Gorilla Glass 3 protects the screen from scratches and damage. The gadget’s selfie camera is inserted into the teardrop-shaped display cutout – with a resolution of 8 MP, it produces good pictures in fairly good frame illumination and loses ground in poor lighting.

Balance of price and quality

The balanced mobile processor Snapdrgon 662 is at the helm of the hardware platform of the model. It is provided with 4 GB of RAM and the Adreno 610 video core to help it. Games on such a bundle will confidently run with medium graphics settings. Other nice features of the smartphone are on- board stereo speakers, an infrared port and a capacious 6000 mAh battery with support for 18-watt charging(the bundle with the smartphone includes a 22.5-watt "with reserve" unit). He would have had an NFC chip and the Poco M3 would have completely broken the low-cost segment of mobile devices.
