Model overview based on user reviews
The Poco F6 256 GB / 8 GB is a smartphone that stands out for its powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, delivering excellent performance without overheating or throttling. Its 120Hz AMOLED display offers vibrant colors and true blacks, enhancing the visual experience. The device supports fast charging, reaching full charge in approximately 30 to 35 minutes with a 90W charger, and provides a long battery life of around 13 hours. The operating system is smooth and customizable, though it has minor bugs. The camera, while clear, has some issues with color rendering and occasional lag in 4K video mode. Additionally, the absence of a 3.5mm jack may be a drawback for some users. Overall, the Poco F6 is a solid choice for those seeking high performance and display quality.
Pros
Cons
Wonderful phone, I've been using it for a few months. Previously had the f5. The camera is about the same, only here the video resolution has more frames and at 60 fps in low light, the picture is brighter. The battery charges faster and lasts about the same. But the f6 is more powerful. The main focus here is on the processor's power, that's why I chose it. No issues with NFC, and connectivity is also good. For this price, I recommend it. Speed of performance, charging, decent camera, very powerful processor that outperforms half of iPhones and most of the Samsungs. 120 Hz. AMOLED display. Stereo. Dolby Atmos. I would like a more powerful charger. Sometimes in 4K/60fps video, the first two or three seconds of recording can lag, but this doesn't always happen. This is not the case in other modes. Overall, I just noticed this, but it's not a critically significant drawback. More critical for me personally is the absence of a 3-5 mini jack. ![]() |
A wonderful phone, I bought it at the beginning of August this year for 16k. During the time of use, I've learned the pros and cons of the phone and also noticed slightly exaggerated specifications on the site. Overall, I would say that the phone is excellent and can be confidently purchased. Its competitor is Realme GT neo 6, but all I know about it comes from videos on social media. I'll write the pros and cons below. I'll also attach some photos and screenshots from the tests (couldn't find a throttling test, but everything was great — no throttling or excessive heating). 1. I'll start with the processor; for this price, it's an excellent processor that handles everything without overheating or throttling (I'll add test screenshots if available). 2. The screen is excellent, a 120Hz AMOLED display with great vibrant colors and true black, no issues with PWM/viewing angles/brightness. 3. OS The OS is fast with a small number of bugs but great customization options. 4. Battery life works approximately +-13 hours without recharging. 5. Fast charging 30 minutes to 100%. A few minor bugs in the system (Occasionally programs disappear from the open program menu) |
Of course, it looks nondescript, but all this is compensated by the power and display. After all, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 easily pulls all games at high graphics settings, and on the built-in AMOLED display everything looks clear and colorful. And for that kind of money, this is simply the best option for those who often play games. Of course, I would like a larger battery, because 5,000 mAh is not very much for such a powerful smartphone, but overall it lives well. Plus, there is a 90 W charger, so if it runs out, it will be 100 in an hour. The only thing is that I didn’t like the camera. The pictures are clear, but the color rendition is not very natural.
