Nikon Z9 is a significant mirrorless camera aimed at professional photographers and videographers. It became the first professional mirrorless camera without a mechanical shutter and without the rolling shutter effect.
Multilayer full frame sensor
The camera uses a full-frame image sensor of a multilayer design, which ensures the fastest possible data reading. Its resolution is 45.7 megapixels. The camera's silent electronic shutter can handle shutter speeds up to 1/32,000 of a second. The mirrorless camera is powered by the powerful EXPEED 7 processor.
Autofocus with artificial intelligence
The model has an OLED viewfinder with a resolution of 3.69 million pixels and a brightness of 3000 nits. The screen's design allows it to tilt and rotate, providing greater flexibility when shooting from unusual angles. The Nikon Z9 features a 493-point autofocus system that can detect and keep a variety of subjects in the frame, including faces, eyes, heads, animals and vehicles. Autofocus is assisted by artificial intelligence algorithms.
Wide range of video recording capabilities
The camera is capable of recording video in resolutions up to 8K at 60 frames per second in ProRes format. 4K shooting is possible at up to 120fps, and 10-bit ProRes 422 HQ at 60fps is also available. Nikon Z9 has a matrix image stabilization system with up to 6 shutter speed or exposure stops.
Professional form factor
The camera is made in the form factor of a professional camera with an integrated vertical battery grip. It is also equipped with an additional info screen on top and has a dust and waterproof housing.
