Does a full frame make a difference? Is it worth buying a full-frame camera?Do I need to spend money on an expensive full frame or is it better to buy a cropped camera?..

Decoding Nikon Camera Series and Model LabelsIn this article, we will focus on decoding Nikon camera series.
Model overview based on user reviews
The Nikon D90 kit 18-55 is highly regarded as an excellent camera for both beginners and advanced enthusiasts. Users appreciate its convenient handling, excellent color reproduction, and sharp image quality. It is praised for its compatibility with various lenses and its ability to produce vibrant photos. The camera is noted for its reliable performance even in challenging conditions, though some users mention that it can be heavy and that the autofocus may struggle in low-light situations. While the video capabilities are considered limited, the D90 excels in photography, making it a legendary choice for those who prioritize image quality over video. Despite some minor issues like occasional glitches and the need for manual settings for optimal results, the Nikon D90 remains a favorite among photography enthusiasts for its price-quality ratio and durability.

I've been using it for about six months. Very satisfied. Especially pleased with the speed of the focal "screwdriver." I never thought my old optics was so fast on autofocus. Works very well with the Nikon "fifty" at 1.4. The main control buttons are all within reach, allowing you to keep your eye on the viewfinder during the process. The autofocus light is located close to the shutter release button. You often end up covering it with your finger. It could have been placed higher or on the other side. After "waking up," the camera does not restore the last settings (flash mode, remote control release, etc.). The way of counting captured material is also somewhat confusing (from infinity to zero), instead of the actual amount captured. But this is probably nitpicking. :-))) ![]() |
Take it and never look back, the model fully justifies itself and the amount they ask for it. Bought in America at Best Buy for 1050 USD + 18-105 lens + bag. Purchased a tripod, 70-300 lens, and AF-S 50 mm, 1.8, planning to get a 600 or 750 flash as well, good luck and great shots EVERYONE. A very convenient model, I haven’t had it for as long as I would like. The model is definitely worth the money. Convenient to use, but moderately heavy in its own way, not for quick and sharp filming, like with soap dishes. I made my choice, as most did, between two global brands, Canon and, accordingly, Nikon, and settled on the D90. In my opinion, the D90 has brighter colors than the Canon - again, this is purely my subjective opinion. It’s like when choosing a car or something similar, what suits who best and is closer to the soul. To those who write heavy negativity, I think they haven’t revealed even half of what they can do. My personal opinion would be a huge plus if they made a rotating screen like in Canone for Live View shooting, sometimes you need to lower the camera to a lower level and have to bend down with it, although I rarely use this function, I only prefer the peephole. ![]() |
In general, it's a legendary camera. Even compared to the D7000, which requires quite a bit of effort, like finding autofocus and choosing lenses, the D90 is compatible with any lenses for any tasks, featuring a comfortable grip. Stunning sharpness, excellent color reproduction, and no flaws or firmware issues during the entire production period of the camera. Excellent camera, suitable for both beginners and advanced enthusiasts, it's what you call "point and shoot," the photos delight from the very first day. I can't even say. ![]() |

I recommend the camera to everyone who doesn't like the "auto" mode. By the way, I used it in the Arctic at -30 C, everything went OK, only the battery ran out quickly, but that's not the camera's fault.
