the “carcass” of an advanced entry-level SLR camera. The model immodestly borrowed the best from its predecessor (D5500 cameras), and that, for a moment, is almost everything. She got a similar sensor with a resolution of 24.2 MP, an Expeed 4 image processor, and the DSLR body itself has not undergone major changes. By inheritance from the previous instance of the model line, the 39-point automatic focus system also fell.

A distinctive feature of the new generation in appearance is a 3.2-inch diagonal screen that can be rotated in all planes with support for tap input. Also, the Nikon D5600 body has acquired a useful Snapbridge function, thanks to which you can control the camera and transfer footage from it “over the air” using the Bluetooth low energy protocol. In the reporter genre of photography, the user has the right to count on the rate of fire up to 5 fps. With video shooting, things are quite standard for the model — the videos are written by it in FullHD format with a frame rate of 60 fps.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Nikon D5600 kit 18-55 is an excellent choice for both entry-level and advanced amateur photographers. It offers a whole new world of settings and adjustments, especially with its ability to shoot in RAW format, which significantly enhances photo editing capabilities. The camera is equipped with a high-quality touchscreen swivel display and can be controlled via smartphone using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC interfaces. Users appreciate its excellent image quality in various conditions, with precise automatic white balance and fast autofocus. The camera performs well at ISO levels up to 3200, with noise becoming noticeable only at 6400, allowing for shooting even in low light. It also features HDR mode and delivers impressive FullHD video at 50 frames per second. However, some users find the camera's dimensions and weight cumbersome compared to more compact models. Additionally, there have been issues with the Nikon app's compatibility with certain smartphones. Overall, the Nikon D5600 is a good model that provides a significant step up from simpler cameras, offering high resolution, excellent detail, and a decent dynamic range.

good model, I liked it

I started considering a DSLR back in the spring, but I couldn't decide between Canon or Nikon for a long time. I used to shoot with an inexpensive and quite old mirrorless Fuji, but DSLRs are a whole different story, and I had to read a lot of material. I chose Nikon for two reasons: first, according to the general consensus, this brand has more natural color reproduction. The colors aren't as vibrant as Canon, but they're closer to natural ones. Secondly, photographers believe that Nikon performs better in lower lighting conditions.
This isn't just the cheapest DSLR anymore; it's an affordable mid-range camera. Of course, it's still hobbyist-level — a professional Nikon or Canon costs much more, many times over. But for me, it's a fantastic device. It's great if I've understood 30% of its features in the three months since purchase, maybe even less. The body is made of polycarbonate plastic, with a convenient ergonomic grip. There are many controls to get used to gradually, but for a less demanding amateur, the automatic mode is suitable, where the camera can independently take quite successful photos. The autofocus works perfectly, 10 out of 10, but you can also focus manually if needed, by tapping on the large, bright display. By the way, it's adjustable, so you can shoot comfortably from any position, even with your arms extended above your head. It takes superb photos in low light. ISO 3200 is completely usable, and even at 6400, many shots still look pretty good. A separate topic is NEFF files, or RAW. With 14-bit color depth, working with such files in Lightroom is a real pleasure. It supports all wireless communication protocols, allowing you to control the camera remotely from a smartphone.
Compared to mirrorless cameras, both the size and especially the weight are impressive. And these aren't the most pleasant impressions. It takes magical pictures, no doubt, but this camera is definitely not for constant carrying. There are situations when you just feel sorry to take it with you; an SLR is delicate equipment, it doesn't like shakes and bumps at all.

This is my first DSLR, before that there were various simple cameras, the best of which was the Canon S5 IS. But I understood what a real photo is only with this camera.
This is an "entry plus" level DSLR camera, but for me, a point-and-shoot user, it's a whole new world of previously unknown settings and adjustments. Most importantly, it can shoot in RAW format, which opens up vast and powerful opportunities for photo editing and dramatically improving less successful shots. For the first few evenings, I simply couldn't tear myself away from Lightroom, it's so interesting and, most importantly, useful. The camera itself is rich in controls, with an excellent viewfinder with diopter correction, which was necessary in my case. There is a high-quality touchscreen swivel display. In addition, the camera can be controlled from a smartphone, as it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC interfaces. It provides excellent image quality in various conditions. I especially liked the precise operation of the automatic white balance, which not all cameras can boast of, the fast autofocus operation, and the image quality at ISO up to 3200 inclusive. Noise becomes noticeable only at 6400, so you can shoot even at dusk. There is an HDR mode. I was also pleased with the results of shooting FullHD video at 50 frames per second. If you shoot with a tripod, the picture looks like it was taken with a good studio video camera.
This is primarily the dimensions and weight. Everything that I used before this DSLR was many times more compact and lighter, so I had to get used to it. And anyway, this is not the kind of camera that you can take with you just like that, in case a good shot turns up during a walk. And it's upsetting, because interesting moments and plots often happen that way.

A cool SLR camera for an advanced amateur photographer. True, I still fit poorly into this category, there are not enough qualifications yet, but I will grow. Moreover, it is a sin not to do this with such a camera. She takes great pictures, so far she has not figured out all the settings, but what she has mastered already allows you to work small miracles. High resolution is combined with excellent detail and a decent dynamic range. In this sense, I really liked working with 14-bit RAW files. But recently, I did not even suspect that this allows pictures with backlighting to get a powerful second wind. The work of autofocus is impressive, it is very tenacious and there is almost no need to interfere with its work. But if you need to do this, you can select the focus point directly on the spacious LCD touch screen. You also need to praise the quality video shooting. I heard that Nikon is not strong in this, but I was convinced of the stupidity of such a statement - 1920x1080x60 / 50fps - it shoots perfectly.
My smartphone did not want to work normally Nikon's proprietary application for connecting to a smartphone. Smart regular official Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and son on Samusng A-series everything works, but I don’t and even though you crack ((
