Compact micro-ATX motherboard from the MSI MAG 2022 lineup, known for its increased reliability and durability. The foundation of the device is a high-class digital 15-phase power subsystem with powerful voltage converters, thermally stable capacitors, and an enlarged aluminum VRM heatsink. It also boasts auxiliary heatsinks for cooling overheated M.2 SSD memory controllers, and its PCI-E slots are reinforced with armored fiber.

As is customary in the MAG series, the manufacturer conducted comprehensive stress tests to pre-screen unsuitable and defective options. Another feature of the MSI MAG B650M MORTAR WIFI is the use of the AM5 CPU socket, which AMD officially transitioned to in 2022. Unlike the old AM4, it is designed to work with Ryzen 7000 series processors (Raphael architecture), PCI-E 4.0 bus, and DDR5 class RAM with a maximum frequency of 6400 MHz.

The work area layout includes 6 old-school SATA3 ports and 2 M.2 slots for the installation of compact and fast SSDs. There is also a built-in RAID controller onboard.
