MSI PRO B850-P WIFI (911-7E56-002)

Mid-range motherboard, part of MSI's specialized PRO series for 2025, designed to work with Ryzen processors from the 7000, 8000, and 9000 series with an AM5 socket. Unlike most members of this family, which are entry-level and primarily aimed at office builds, this model is a good example of a modern workstation motherboard. Traditionally for the PRO series, the board is equipped with exclusive MSI technologies, including the EZ Antenna system for Wi-Fi 7, EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II technology for cooling storage devices, and additional PCI-E power for powerful graphics cards.

The MSI PRO B850-P WIFI is built on the B850M chipset and supports key new wave standards: PCI-E 5.0 interface, DDR5 modules with frequencies from 8200 MHz, and M.2 format drives, each equipped with a separate heatsink. The board is designed for installing up to 256 GB of RAM in four DIMM slots — a capacity that might be useful only in workstations or specialized tasks. The power section is built with a 15-phase design using heat-resistant components, reliable chokes, and reinforced power tracks. The design is intended for stable operation with powerful processors like the Ryzen 9 9700X, and additional PCI-E power phases enhance reliability when using high-performance graphics cards. It also supports the connection of water pumps and RGB lighting, making it suitable as a foundation for both work and gaming builds.
