A large mains-powered angle grinder designed to work with 230 mm diameter attachments. The tool is equipped with a 2800 W motor with a "soft start" function, which turns on the motor without jerking. During sawing or grinding, the Makita GA9070X1 angle grinder automatically maintains the speed at maximum level, despite the change in load, thanks to the presence of constant electronics.

The tool is equipped with a brake that quickly stops the disc after releasing the start button, as well as a safety clutch to protect the angle grinder and the user from kickback if the attachment jams. A large energy-absorbing insert is installed between the body and the rear handle, which acts as an anti-vibration mechanism. The rear handle can be rotated 90 ° left and right relative to the body. This design, together with the 3-position additional handle, allows you to comfortably hold the angle grinder both horizontally (when grinding) and vertically (when performing cutting work). The tool weighs 6.3 kg and has a 2.5 m long power cable.
