This is a reliable random orbit sander with a medium power motor from one of the market leaders in high quality handheld power tools. Belongs to a family of professional tools with broad functionality. It can be used for grinding of varying degrees of purity — from primary roughing to fine finishing. In addition, with the appropriate wheels installed, this model can confidently cope with the tasks of fine polishing.

The Makita BO5030 random orbital sander can work with various types of wood, steels and cast irons, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, natural and artificial stone, epoxy / polymer masses and even paint and varnish coatings. An oscillation amplitude of 2.8 mm (eccentric stroke 1.4 mm) allows you to get a high-quality result with minimal time. The engine speed is 12,000 rpm, which gives up to 24,000 oscillations of the working surface per minute.

The engine of the device is air-cooled and can handle long work sessions without any problems. To remove dust from the sole, there is a system of holes, from where the particles are collected in a complete fabric dust collector. For large volumes of work, accompanied by a significant amount of waste, it is recommended to connect a construction industrial vacuum cleaner. Due to its low weight (1.3 kg) and rubberized surfaces of the body, working with the machine is not too tiring.

pressing when working will not make it faster
the machine is super for 7 years now I’ve been working without a break and at least it doesn’t matter, but by the way I only work with a Makita tool,
crappy sole needs to be reapplied with self-adhesive
