CATerpillar DX46

Network eccentric sander, designed for leveling and sanding wooden surfaces, removing layers of lacquer and paint, and performing other tasks in the home workshop. The tool is equipped with a 400W electric motor. The sanding pad of the CATerpillar DX46 has a diameter of 125 mm. Abrasive sheets are fastened using Velcro. During operation, the pad rotates and simultaneously performs high-frequency motions with an amplitude of 2.5 mm.

Tool adjustment for different abrasives and materials is carried out using a speed regulator, allowing the frequency of oscillatory motions of the pad to be changed in the range of 10,000 – 28,000 oscillations/min. The set includes a cyclone filter (a small container for collecting dust generated during abrasive processing of surfaces) and an adapter that allows a vacuum hose to be connected to the machine's outlet nozzle. The device weighs 1.6 kg. The power cable is 3 meters long.
