Model overview based on user reviews
The Kingston KVR SO-DIMM DDR4 1x8Gb RAM is praised for its excellent compatibility with a wide range of laptops, including modern gaming models. Users appreciate its affordable price and the fact that it can be easily integrated into systems, often recognizing the full 16 GB when paired with another module. However, one user reported issues with braking noise and timing that affected performance, suggesting a possible defect. Despite this, the RAM generally performs well, operating at a frequency of 2400 MHz, and is considered a reliable choice for enhancing laptop performance.
Pros
Cons
By a strange tradition, laptop manufacturers install only one 8 GB module out of two possible ones. I have already installed such a module in modern "gamer" laptops twice. It always started up and works fine. Compatibility seems to me even with an iron. Price Nothing |
I bought one from ShiftPC at the Mitinsky market. Probably, the sellers of this memory write the reviews. Real timing according to Aida64: 17-17-17-39. Overall, it's complete garbage. The laptop started glitching and takes twice as long to boot compared to two Samsung fours. Additionally, all photo previews disappeared! The laptop recognizes 16 GB, clock speed is 2400 according to Aida64 test Braking noise, timing 39 does not allow the processor to work at full capacity. Either the ShiftPC sellers slipped me a defect. |
Approached the laptop Asus FX502. It works without problems, the frequency is 2400 MHz. Compatibility No |
