A stylish kit consisting of a pair of high-speed overclocker RAM modules with a total capacity of 16 GB (2x8 GB), which is able to work stably with an effective clock frequency of 3200 MHz and lower timings. A striking exterior design can be chosen from six variants with different radiator colours. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the upper price category of 2016, aimed at modding enthusiasts, overclocker enthusiasts and gamers.

The modules of the G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 2x8Gb F4-3200C16D-16GTZ kit are designed for installation in multi-purpose home and gaming systems. Can be used as part of inexpensive workstations. By default, the modules work with an effective clock frequency of 2133 MHz, timings 19-19-19-43 and a voltage of 1.2 V. To automatically activate the claimed performance mode (3200 MHz in dual-channel mode with CL16-16-16-36 timings at a voltage of 1.35 V) requires a motherboard that supports XMP 2.0 technology. If the motherboard does not support this technology, then the necessary parameters can be configured manually in the corresponding section of the UEFI BIOS. The performance mode provides high bandwidth (25.6 Gbps), sufficient for any games and applications. Claimed compatible with platforms based on 6th to 12th generation Intel Core CPUs and AMD Ryzen CPUs.

Model overview based on user reviews
The G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 2x8Gb RAM is highly praised for its excellent performance, especially with AMD processors. Users have noted a significant performance increase, with one reporting a 17% gain on a Ryzen 3600x after overclocking. The memory is stable and runs smoothly even at higher frequencies, such as 3400 MHz, with tight timings. It features SK hynix chips, known for reliability. While the RAM lacks backlighting, its design is visually appealing. The product offers a substantial margin for overclocking, making it ideal for enthusiasts. However, users should be cautious of its height, which might interfere with PSU placement in narrow cases. Overall, it is a great choice for those looking to enhance their system's performance.

great model, love it

I took memory a year ago for Ryzen 5 2600x (memory 3200 MHz Trident Z timings 16 18 18 38), set it to 3400 MHz with 16 18 18 38 timings and has been working stably for a year now.
1. 3400 MHz runs without problems with 15 16 16 37 timings (more possible)2. Chips cost SK hynix (if nothing has changed in a year)

Excellent memory for AMD processors.

Memory is great. Ryzen shaved with a bang. I took it under 3600x, performance increased by 17% after overclocking. By the way, I didn’t understand what her peak was, but I didn’t drive hard, dumb to be honest, but 3376 takes like seeds with a minimum set of timings. But I’m still an overclocker)) It doesn’t heat up at all, so for extreme people there is a large supply of Cooling system. I really like the look, but unfortunately there is no backlight. I really liked the memory, especially judging by the tests - it has a huge margin for overclocking. I think I will change all the coolers in the case and try to overclock to peak values. By the way, the radiator is very high, if the PSU is located on top, and the case is narrow, then perhaps it can rest against it. I have a thin case, but the PSU is placed from below.
Runs without problems. Real gain of 17% on Ryzen 3600x. Great look.
No backlight.
