Canon 10-18mm RF-S f/4.5-6.3 IS STM (6262C005)

A wide-field zoom lens designed for Canon mirrorless cameras with an APS-C sensor. The model was released at the end of 2023 and is compatible with the RF bayonet mount. In terms of a full-frame equivalent, the Canon RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM covers focal lengths from 16 to 29 mm — the lens is suitable for shooting landscapes, architecture, interiors, and similar subjects. The aperture of the model is low and “floating” — from f/4.5 at the short end to f/6.3 at the maximum zoom position.

Fortunately, the wide-angle lens has an optical stabilizer on board, which helps compensate for up to 4 shutter speed or frame exposure steps (or up to 6 stops together with matrix stabilization systems in the corresponding cameras). The lens is focused using a fast and quiet STM drive - in automatic mode, focusing is possible from a distance of 14 cm (and in manual mode from 8.6 cm). The optical scheme of the model consists of 12 elements in 10 groups and is complemented by a 7-blade diaphragm design. The lens is compatible with filters and a diameter of 49 mm. It weighs only 150 g.
