A universal zoom lens for all occasions, released in a version for the mirrorless league of Sony cameras. The model covers the popular 28-75mm focal length range and boasts a consistently fast f/2.8 aperture. The optical design of the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 VXD Di III G2 consists of 17 elements in 15 groups. Also inside the lens body is a linear autofocus motor VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) with a focusing distance of 18 cm in the wide-angle zoom position.

The linear drive guarantees fast and quiet focusing in automatic mode. A 9-blade rounded aperture is responsible for blurring the background when shooting on the lens. The focus ring of the model is customizable - if necessary, the aperture function is assigned to it. The lens also got the ability to change the functions of the button on the body using the Tamron Lens Utility. Suitable for filters with a diameter of 67 mm. The zoom lens increases the weight of the "carcass" of the camera by about 540 g.
