Unlike 1200 OEM 14 nm, the processor is manufactured using the 12 nm process technology. Ryzen 1000, Ryzen 2000 processors are not supported by motherboards with A520, B550 chipset.

Model overview based on user reviews
The AMD Ryzen 3 Summit Ridge is a budget-friendly processor that offers solid performance for its price. It features four physical cores and supports overclocking, making it a competitive choice against similar models like the i3-8100. Users appreciate its ability to overclock up to 4.2GHz, providing enhanced performance for gaming and other tasks. However, it lacks integrated graphics, requiring a discrete GPU for optimal use. Some users noted potential issues with driver compatibility for integrated graphics, but overall, it is considered a good option for budget builds. The processor maintains a low temperature, although some report it can reach up to 65°C under load. Despite minor drawbacks, such as the lack of SMT virtual threads and integrated graphics, the Ryzen 3 Summit Ridge is praised for its affordability and capability, especially when paired with a suitable motherboard for overclocking.

In short, I decided to put together an assembly for 40k and besides this prototype I couldn’t find anything better. For gaming, I recommend immediately overclocking it to at least 3.9 (Preferably), as well as selecting memory standards and also raising it to 3000 or 3200
Price Low temperature (suitable with any cooler for 500 rubles) You can safely overclock up to 4.3 (on a decent motherboard)
In stock it hits 100
use AMD 1200 OEM 14 nm few months
This is probably like the i3-8100, only cheaper and overclockable.

Great processor for its price!!
Overclocked to 4.2GHz with a voltage of 1.4000V (:

I have an old small monitor, 1600x900, it runs games like CS and Dota easily. Compared the graphics of the CPU with the i3 8100, and Intel lost. It's worth getting this CPU for a few months, but then it's advisable to buy a GPU. With Intel, that won't work, you better get a GPU right away as integrated graphics will at most run games like "My World". A good option for a budget build.
Decent integrated graphics
doesn't heat up much
not very expensive
can be overclocked
There might be a hassle with the drivers, it doesn't want to find the integrated graphics.

AMD was one of the first to understand that the semiconductor crisis would last for more than one month. And at the beginning of 2020, they made a strange feint with their ears and released the obsolete first-generation Ryzen 3 chips for sale, but made using a more modern 12nm process technology. Thanks to this, the Ryzen 3 1600 pumped almost to the level of the Ryzen 2600, regained its former positions and again became the most interesting low-cost processor in the AMD range. Looking at the success of the operation and the pessimistic forecasts for deliveries, AMD decided to turn a feint with their ears and resurrect the old AMD 1200.

Price at the level of Intel Pentium processors

This time, the slightly more modest Ryzen 3 2200G has become a role model. From now on, both processors are built on a 12-nm process technology, and the difference in frequency during auto-overclocking is 0.3 GHz. Because of this, in normal mode, our test sample lags behind its Ryzen 3 2200G by an average of 10 – 15%, depending on the task. For example, in the Passmark test for overall performance, we got 6741 versus 7325 points. With a little manual overclocking (thankfully the multiplier is unlocked here) Ryzen 1200, we quite easily brought the performance of both models to a common denominator. At the same time, AMD Ryzen 3 1200 can be bought for a modest $ 80 (and this is for the version with a cooler), while Ryzen 3 2200G will cost almost twice as much.

Comes with a cooler

Given that the Ryzen 1200 is not multi-threaded, it will be a great option for the most low-cost-conscious users who are not ready to invest in a powerful build right now, but plan to do so in the future. After all, AMD uses the same AM4 socket for all Ryzen chips, so if you upgrade to a more powerful processor, you don't necessarily have to change the motherboard. Well, right now, paired with an RTX 2060 SUPER-level graphics card, our hero is able to provide up to 60 FPS in such demanding projects as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077 and Far Cry 6. And this is at predominantly high graphics settings and Full HD resolution.
