Model overview based on user reviews
The Yokohama Ice Guard IG60 tires have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from users, highlighting their excellent performance in various winter conditions. They are praised for their predictable behavior, low noise levels, and strong grip on icy and snowy surfaces. Users appreciate the tires' resistance to temperature changes and their ability to handle different terrains smoothly, including city roads and frozen dirt paths. The tires also offer good water drainage and no aquaplaning, ensuring safety in wet conditions. While some users noted minor tread wear after extensive use, the overall durability and performance make these tires a worthy investment for winter driving.

Made In Japan. I've been driving for about a month since November. My driving style is generally calm with occasional fast driving. First impression - the tires are very cold. Around zero degrees, they're excessively soft, swaying in the lane at speeds over 90, and tend to slide during emergency braking on asphalt. But as soon as the temperature drops to -7, the tires transform - become very composed and predictable. Acceleration and braking on wet asphalt - 5 points. Acceleration on snow 5, braking 4, steering 5. On bare ice, braking, acceleration, and steering 4 (for non-studded tires), if there's a bit of sticky snow on top of the ice, braking is 3, acceleration and steering are without issues. Getting out of a snowdrift 5. Handling in a skid is a solid 5! Overall, the tires accelerate better than they brake. The treads are large, snow sticks to them and off we go... But if you rev up, the tire clears itself and grips very confidently. In summary: definitely get them for the city, for rural roads - likewise, on the ring road - don't speed, be careful on ice - hand always on the handbrake - if you miss the turn, controlled skidding will likely pull you through. Not just quiet, but silent, soft, paddles well, predictable, effectively channels water Applicable to size 155/65 R14 on Matiz. Floats on asphalt at speeds over 90 km/h if warmer than -5. On slightly frozen snowy slush in Moscow, it skids a little, but it's all manageable. use Yokohama Ice Guard IG60 155/65 R14 75Q few months |

Last winter, my mother-in-law punctured a Michelin Alpin A4 on her Aveo, so I replaced it with the same Yokohama. She complained about the Michelin, saying she would never drive on studless tires again and insisted on studs. After driving on the IG60, she completely changed her mind, she is very satisfied, and doesn't even think about studs anymore!
