Model overview based on user reviews
The Yokohama Advan Sport V105 tires are highly praised for their excellent handling and braking capabilities, especially in wet conditions. Users appreciate their reliability and performance at high speeds, with some noting stability even at 170 km/h. The tires are described as comfortable and well-suited for variable temperatures, performing admirably from near-zero to warmer conditions. While initial noise is a common observation, it tends to diminish after a break-in period, leading to a more comfortable ride. Overall, these tires offer a great balance of grip, speed, and comfort, making them a solid choice for sporty driving.

I've been using these tires for a total of 6 years now. I bought the first set in 2013. I changed it in 2017. At the same time, when I changed the tread, there was still some tread left, but a tire mechanic I knew advised me to change it every 4 seasons. The downside is that the new one is still a little noisy. Then the noise disappears. At speed it behaves excellently. Accelerated up to 170 km/h. No jitters. I practically don’t drop into shallow turns. Not afraid of rain, fully controlled control As soon as you install it makes noise, you need to break it in ![]() |
Braking on wet and dry is rated 5 out of 5. Noise - 4. Handling at speeds of 150+ is a solid 5! I never expected that such a decent sporty tire could be bought for reasonable money. I enjoyed driving it fast until travel restrictions were imposed. In my personal opinion, Yokohama did a splendid job with the grip and speed properties of these tires. Despite the noise, the tires are decently comfortable. On broken roads, the old tires caused vibration in the steering wheel. With these tires, everything is okay. As for me, rubber is good in everything. Taxiing is comfortable at any speed. Doesn't jump on ruts, isn't afraid of rain. We had to go onto gravel and there it showed good performance at 60-70 km/h over the pebbles and the car was easy to control. Handling, reliability, behavior on gravel roads A little noisy ![]() |
