Model overview based on user reviews
The Yokohama Advan dB V552 tires are highly praised for their exceptional quietness and comfort, significantly reducing vibration and noise, making the driving experience much more pleasant. Users appreciate the excellent handling at high speeds and the tire's ability to maintain direction and take turns smoothly. The tires perform well in various weather conditions, including rain and high temperatures, thanks to their high-quality rubber compound. Additionally, they are noted for their effective water channeling and stability during sudden braking without screeching. Overall, these tires are considered a premium choice at a reasonable price, offering a significant upgrade from previous versions like the V551, with improved noise reduction and consistent performance.
Pros
I purchased a Yokohama v552 kit with dimensions 205/60 R16. The issue with vibration and noise from under the arches has been resolved. The car became much quieter. In any case, I don't hear the sound of the tires. They keep the direction straight and take turns deftly. Rain or +35 does not affect the quality of rubber, which is “+” in favor of the mixture. Rubber compound, no rubber noise Not available ![]() |
A premium tire for a reasonable price and with excellent rubber quality. When I bought it, there were no reviews at all, but I took the risk, and as they say, I wasn't disappointed. Among the biggest advantages – I can't hear it at all. It handles bumps as if they aren't there. The other day, I had to slam on the brakes. I expected the screech of the tires, but it didn't happen! The tread channels water well. It's obedient at high speeds. The mileage isn't very high yet, but I'm completely satisfied with the tire. Silent, doesn't screech during sudden braking, handles well at high speed No ![]() |
I had the V551 tires. When I found out that Yoka released the V552, I decided to try them. I liked the previous version because it was barely audible even on terrible roads. The V552 is even quieter. On good asphalt, you don't hear it. On rougher asphalt, if you listen closely, you might hear something, but it's not definite, maybe it's just your imagination. All other characteristics are maintained in the style of a quality premium tire. It's not a racing tire, but the manufacturer has given it a speed index of V (240 km/h). I'm not crazy enough to test it at that speed. I'll just say that at 140 km/h it behaves very obediently. Comfortable, controllable tires, very quiet Did not notice ![]() |
