Low-cost model of a robotic cleaner from Xiaomi for sweeping and mopping. In dry cleaning mode, the dual front brushes rake debris from the peripheral areas under the bottom, where it is picked up by the turbo brush. To activate the wet wiping mode, pour 200 mL of water into a special dust collector tank and fix a nozzle with moistened microfibre under the bottom. The fluid supply is adjusted automatically. Xiaomi MiJia Sweeping Robot G1 demonstrates 2200 Pa suction power. Orientation of the cleaning robot in space is based on the readings of a system of sensors: a gyroscope and odometers, IR sensors, and fall sensors on the bottom. Also, the model is able to overcome obstacles in the manner of door sills up to 17 mm high. On a single charge of a 2500 mAh battery, the vacuum cleaner perfor...ms cleaning for about an hour and a half. If he did not have enough battery life, the robot will go to "refuel" and return to finish what he started. The model understands voice commands, cleans according to a schedule and is controlled from the Mi Home mobile application.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Xiaomi MiJia G1 robot vacuum cleaner offers a budget-friendly option with both dry and wet cleaning capabilities. Users appreciate its ability to collect dog hair, dust, and small debris, making it a practical choice for pet owners. However, it lacks a sophisticated cleaning algorithm, often resulting in chaotic navigation and inefficient cleaning patterns. Connectivity issues with the smartphone app and the absence of virtual walls are noted drawbacks. Despite these limitations, the vacuum is praised for its affordable price, easy control via smartphone, and scheduled cleaning feature. It is particularly suitable for smaller spaces, as it can clean up to 60 square meters and has a battery life of 90 minutes. While it may not replace a traditional vacuum for deep cleaning, it is considered a convenient tool for maintaining daily cleanliness, especially for those who prefer a hands-off approach.

you can get it

Overall, it saves a lot of time. I have a dog with which wool climbs all year round. The robot picks up dust and hair twice a day very well. As a result, it remains to vacuum in the corners and crevices over the weekend, and wash normally.
collects dog hair, dust and small debris
long hair and a lot of wool can clog the brush, short power cord, sometimes the brush falls out due to hair and wool, poor orientation, sometimes gets stuck

My first vacuum cleaner, I may be biased considering the price, but it’s better to take a top-end one
19 January 2022
I don't even know how to rate this "miracle" of technology... maybe I'm biased against it, or I just got a defective one or something crazy... SO: Cleaning quality. The quality can't be compared to a regular vacuum cleaner, for example, in the corridor, I personally have linoleum, everyone understands that some sand is left behind from shoes, no matter how hard you try not to "stomp," well, the vacuum cleaner doesn't manage to clean it in one go, it takes about 3 times, which is basically okay... already not by hand... the corridor is marked on the map as 5 squares, so one cleaning takes about 8 minutes. Next, the kitchen... in the kitchen, I have tiles, the situation here is better, in principle, everything is decent in one go... and it also cleans carpets decently, but there is one downside, the carpet is about 5 mm high, so when it rides over and off it, it always crumples or bends it in some way. Conclusion on cleaning: it certainly doesn't compare to a regular vacuum cleaner, but in this case, there's nothing else to do.

Wet cleaning: Don't expect anything supernatural here! It just wipes everywhere with a wet cloth... and that's it... As for refreshing the room, especially in the summer, it'll do, but if you've got some grease dripped somewhere or the same sand from shoes, be prepared for it to smear it all around))) *Usually, I first turn him on to vacuum, then I put on the cloth. That way, everything is okay.

And I think that's all the advantages...

Ahhh... well, and its price is also a plus.
- Indeed, as they say, you need to use a regular vacuum cleaner less often
Control from the phone: This is some real nightmare..... It's not like a nightmare, the app is mostly made for aesthetics...

- Connecting to the phone.... Totally ridiculous, connected on the 48th try and somehow by a miracle... well, never mind that, let's overlook it... it did connect...

- There's no mapping whatsoever... with every freaking launch the map is built anew.... there is a button "stop sending map" that supposedly makes everything good when turned off.... but guys..... this button turns itself on with every launch, and as you guessed, the map is redrawn... nothing can be done about it.... in short, a useless feature...
- Spot cleaning or just remote control is called Vacuum cleaner area in the app. The funniest thing is that when you're there, the app throws an error saying the phone and the vacuum cleaner are not connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Click OK and the entire menu closes... you can quickly, randomly click something in this menu and sometimes, voila, you manage to control the vacuum... but the control is terrible... you can perform one action at a time... in general, it's faster to grab a broom or such a vacuum cleaner

- Voice settings, meaning the vacuum cleaner announces that it has started or finished cleaning and so on - work on their own wave, sometimes it speaks, other times it just doesn't, in general, it lives its own life... it's not a critical feature, but since it's there, its behavior is very annoying...

- Cleaning along the edges of the furniture - works fine, but it will clean along the edges even a million times until

Definitely a very useful and practical item.

I bought this marvel of technology. Honestly, I'm shocked. I used to look at robots, read reviews, and realized that it was a bit too soon. About two weeks ago, I realized the time had come. I'm a bachelor, and I mop the floors every three to four months. I didn't bother with this issue. But when I bought the robot, it felt like I got myself a wife))))) Now, let me explain step by step. 1. It took me exactly one minute to download the app and connect my vacuum. Then it updated and started speaking in a funny female Russian voice. 2. This vacuum cleaner is quite simple and straightforward. It vacuums according to an algorithm - first the center of the room, then the edges. It creates a cleaning map and doesn't miss a single centimeter of the floor. 3. I don't have any carpets. There's laminate and tiles in the kitchen. For mopping, I set it to medium moisture, and that's enough for me. It cleans every day and the floors are constantly clean. It keeps bringing dust in the container (I don't know where it finds it every day). 4. I have a three-room apartment, and it finds the station from any room without a problem for recharging. 5. Its enemies are wires and curtains. So before cleaning, I recommend clearing all that from the floor so it doesn't get stuck, and you'll be happy.
A wonderful thing for lazy people like me.
I understand that this is a budget item, but still, in my case, it's lacking the feature to set up virtual walls so it doesn't go where it's not supposed to.
