The Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner belongs to the mid-price segment and is a versatile helper for dry and wet cleaning in the home or apartment. With a suction power of 8000 Pa, it easily handles dirt on any floor coverings, whether it's laminate, parquet, or a carpet with pile. The main V-shaped turbo brush with blades is responsible for dry cleaning, cutting tangled hair, thread, and pet fur, preventing them from getting entangled.

There is also one side brush for sweeping debris from corners and along walls. For wet cleaning, there are two discs with soft fabric attachments that, during operation, press tightly against the floor and rotate rapidly, thus imitating manual washing and effectively cleaning stains and dried dirt. The right wheel can extend sideways to thoroughly clean the floor near walls, corners, and around furniture.

When moving onto a carpet, the robot automatically raises the wet attachments to avoid leaving wet marks and increases suction power. To navigate spaces, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Max uses a classic rangefinder and numerous sensors, helping it to create accurate room maps, plan routes, avoid falling off stairs, recognize various obstacles, and navigate around them.

For control, there are buttons on the gadget's body and a mobile app Mi Home, where you can set a cleaning schedule, establish no-go zones, and adjust the power and intensity of the wetting of the attachments. Additionally, the robot understands voice commands and supports virtual assistants Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The model comes with a multifunctional docking station designed not just for battery charging. Firstly, it unloads trash from the dustbin into a 2.5-liter bag that needs cleaning approximately every 75 days. Secondly, the station washes the wet cleaning attachments and dries them with hot air to prevent mold and unpleasant odors.
