In the professional line of equipment from the Ukrainian brand Vulcan, one of the most powerful generators is the SC13000-III model. It is capable of generating both single-phase and three-phase electric current with voltages of 230 V and 400 V, respectively.
Powerful power unit
As a power unit, the device is equipped with a four-stroke two-cylinder Zongshen GB680FE engine with a power of 24 hp. The fuel for it is gasoline. For an hour of operation at full load, the generator motor consumes about 5 liters of fuel. Thanks to a tank with a capacity of 45 liters, the generator can operate without interruption for approximately 9 hours at maximum load and 16-18 hours at half load.
Electricity generation
The rated power of the generator when generating single-phase electricity is 8.8 kW, with the possibility of short-term overloads up to 9.6 kW. In three-phase networks it is possible to obtain long-term power at the level of 10 kW with peak load surges of up to 12 kW. The Vulcan SC13000-III is equipped with two 230V power outlets and one 400V power outlet.
Onboard equipment
The model also has a built-in automatic voltage regulator AVR, which ensures reliable power supply to sensitive equipment. The process of starting the power unit is simplified thanks to the electric starter. Other important features include a voltmeter and an hour meter, as well as the presence of two transport wheels and protection of the generator’s working mechanisms from dust.
