In this review, I want to explain why I chose the Digital Edition and why I consider it the perfect option for me. It's cheaper than the version with a drive. The disc-less version is ideal for those who love to play free multiplayer games and those who haven't played most games since the 2000s. I've already added over 100 games to my library, including titles like Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, Resident Evil 7, The Last of Us, and many other AAA titles, all for free with a subscription. The only game I purchased was FIFA23. I absolutely don't see the point in buying discs and selling them after finishing. Unless you've played all the games and it's important for you to play new exclusives from the start. In that case, yes, the version with a drive is for you, but are you ready to hassle with reselling discs? With a subscription, there's plenty to play, and there are loads of games. Another plus of the disc-less version is that it's perfect for those who share an account between two people and buy games together. If you buy a disc for two people, you can't play simultaneously, but if you buy a digital game with a buddy, it's not painful on the wallet, and no one feels left out. You can play at the same time or co-op with each other. Price, Design, Power No |
I have been using it for two years. It's a great console, easy to use, and the gamepad is the most comfortable among all. The subscription covers all needs. I would like it to be smaller, but that's a minor issue. Overall, everything is excellent, just what you need for home gaming. Convenience Gamepad Design |
Great console, the new generation brings us SSD speed, 4K, 120 FPS, but this new generation has become very difficult to obtain. Personally, I chased after the PS5 for about half a year, trying to get it at a normal price, and finally, I managed! And I was very happy. Compared to the Playstation 4 - it's like night and day. The console's boot-up speed and game launch have increased significantly, and fast travel has become instant! There are also features like Tempest 3D audio and in-game hints. Plus, I would like to express great gratitude to Sony for extending the PS Plus subscription for Ukrainians for free! However, all these features are noticeable only when transitioning from the previous generation of consoles; if you switched from a PC worth $1000+, you might not notice them. But what everyone will definitely notice is the new Dualsense controller. Its immersive vibration and triggers that resist your fingers really add new experiences to the gameplay. So - if you can get it for 18,000 - 20,000 UAH, it's my unequivocal recommendation! Nextgen feeling Dualsense Loading speed Sony's policy regarding Ukraine The interface, compared to the PS 4, has slightly worsened in terms of convenience. A paid subscription is still required to play online games. Size |
