A smaller version of the PlayStation 5 with the ability to remove the disc drive and slightly increased memory (1 TB instead of 825 GB).
The kit does not include a stand for vertical installation of the console.
The compact version of the Sony PlayStation fifth-generation gaming console retains all the power of the original PS5, despite its reduced body size made possible by an updated cooling system. Unlike the Digital version, the PS5 Slim features a removable disc drive, allowing the use of both digital and physical format games. Like the original model, the console's core is a custom 8-core AMD Zen 2 processor with a clock speed of 3.5 GHz, delivering performance comparable to a desktop Ryzen 7 3700X.
The AMD graphics accelerator is built on the RDNA 2 architecture and matches the power of a Radeon RX 6700 XT, with the added benefit from unified memory use. The console supports 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology reduces screen tearing and makes the gaming process more fluent. Network connectivity is provided via a LAN port, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth, and there are three USB ports for connecting accessories.
The Sony PlayStation 5 Slim comes with a pair of branded DualSense gamepads with Sony's classic layout, an integrated touch panel, and adaptive triggers that change resistance based on the gaming scenario, as well as improved tactile feedback. Its compact design, the inclusion of a removable disc drive, and high-end performance thanks to the AMD Zen 2 processor and RDNA 2 graphics make it stand out. Additionally, the DualSense gamepads offer a tactile gaming experience with adaptive triggers and touch support.

Recently, I became the owner of a PS5 Slim and I want to note that for its price in 4K, you won't find a better gaming experience anywhere else. I especially want to highlight the DualSense; it's something incredible, its vibrations immerse you even more into the game. I also subscribed to the mid-tier PS subscription and now I can play some really cool games while waiting for GTA 6. I also want to mention that the prices for games in the PS store are quite reasonable, while the prices for discs are higher. Among the advantages is the speed of game launch; from the moment you turn on the console to when you are already in the game, it takes less than a minute. not found yet  Bogdan Omelay: use Sony PlayStation 5 Slim few months |

1. Loading speed is the first thing. It's even noticeable in Ubisoft games; with fast travel, you could take a nap on the 4))
2. The controller has become much more comfortable, both in terms of feel and vibration level. It's enjoyable to play.
For those wondering if it's worth upgrading to the 5, I think yes.
