Smoothly changing the angle of view from 8.2° to 3.1°, this lens allows the photographer not to waste energy on walking when choosing a composition. The front lens group includes two Extraordinary Low Dispersion (ELD) glass elements to keep chromatic aberration to a minimum. The HSM motor (Hyper-Sonic Motor) enables precise and quiet focus. Combined with the Sigma EX 1.4x and 2x teleconverters (sold separately), the lens extends the focal length to 420-1120mm/F8 and 600-1600mm/F11 respectively.
