Based on tests, the RX 9060 XT 16 GB shows pretty good numbers. At 1080p Full HD, it’s only 4% slower than the more expensive RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB. The new GPU is much faster in ray tracing, fixing one of RDNA 3’s biggest shortcomings. In RT, the Radeon RX 9060 XT is basically on par with the NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti, showing a similar 3% margin as in rasterization — AMD has caught up! Did you expect that? The RT performance uplift generation-over-generation compared to the RX 7600 XT is a huge +64% — very impressive. Thanks to the relatively compact “Free Flow” cooling with two AeroCurve fans, the use of Honeywell PTM7950 thermal interface material, and an integrated cooling module with composite heatpipes, the PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT is Sapphire’s best bang-for-the-buck product in its lineup, where the card doesn’t come with any flashy RGB lighting or fancy extras and just gets the job done without any unnecessary fuss. Excellent price-to-performance, market price is very close to MSRP, incredibly quiet graphics card, very low memory temperatures (thanks to Samsung memory). At the start, the sale is slightly more expensive than the recommended retail price. |
Great graphics card that provides a comfortable gaming experience at 1080p. Very cool (up to 55 degrees under maximum load) and quiet. Consumes up to 180W in performance mode. Really liked the AMD Adrenalin, which has many convenient features. The only thing that upsets me is the price (€430 at the time of purchase). I often think it might have been worth paying an extra €140-185 to buy the RTX 5070, even in a budget version... Productive, cool, quiet, supports FSR4, convenient and functional AMD Adrenalin, up to 180W power consumption. Price at the time of purchase. |

Technical Minimalism
The Sapphire Radeon RX 9060 XT PULSE 16GB is a compact graphics card built on AMD's RDNA 4 architecture. Its length is 240 mm, allowing it to be installed in Mini Tower cases and desktop systems with limited internal space. However, the model has relatively high power consumption at 170W and tends to run hotter compared to NVidia counterparts. Nonetheless, the manufacturer compensates for this with a well-thought-out Free Flow cooling system: using a Honeywell liquid metal thermal interface, composite heat pipes, and two AeroCurve aerodynamic blade fans. The contact plate covers not just the graphics chip itself but also the VRM area, preventing local overheating of components.
Practical Imbalance
The graphics card is equipped with a substantial amount of video memory—16 GB, but the use of the GDDR6 standard appears to be a questionable decision. Paired with a high boost frequency up to 3290 MHz, the GPU delivers excellent performance in games and everyday tasks, including creating and editing multimedia content. Thanks to intelligent technologies—Fluid Motion Frames 2, HYPR-RX, FidelityFX Super Resolution 4, Radeon Anti-Lag 2—and the built-in AMD Radiance Display processor, the card enhances color reproduction, eliminates blurs and stutters, and increases frame rates by generating intermediate frames. Nevertheless, in real-world tests, the RX 9060 XT lags behind counterparts from the GeForce RTX 50 series. The maximum potential of this graphics system is realized when using a processor and AMD ecosystem components.
